Annie

November 19, 2016 by

Annie was THE sweetest dog we have ever known. She was a quiet soul who was happy just lying by the fire especially in her golden years.

When she was younger she loved to play frisbee or anything really that she could catch and bring back to us.

She went with me everyday to get the mail and always brought a piece back into the house so she could get her treat.

I remember when we got our Corgi, Maggi. The pup had only been here a few days and Annie took her favorite stuffed teddy bear and put it in Maggi’s kennel for her. This is how Annie was, giving, gracious, never pushy, always ready for a good scratch.

We miss you Annie but we are glad that you no longer hurt and are chasing and catching frisbees again. Tell Maggi and Hunter and Mo and Bee, Dorey and Bear we said “HI”. Someday we will see you again at the bridge.

Hugs to you our sweet girl.

Your beloved pet is sick

The diagnosis and subsequent prognosis aren't good. Now is the time to contemplate advanced animal hospice care or putting your pet to sleep (euthanasia). But where do you turn for help? What are the next steps? How do you make this final period of your companion’s life as peaceful as possible? Read more...
